The NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series tackled the quarter mile at Heartland Park Topeka this weekend with hundreds of racers going head to head in today's elimination rounds for the Division 5 Heartland Championships. Winners were crowned in Top Alcohol Dragster, Top Alcohol Funny Car and the rest of the classes that make up the nationwide series.

NHRA West Central division racers head to Tri-State Raceway, Earlville, Iowa for the next NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event, Sept. 10-12. Next up on the Heartland Park Topeka ¼ mile is the National Dragster and Jr. Dragster Challenge events Saturday, Sept. 11.
