The E Team Sky divers kicked off this weeks Super Saturday Showdown Series by dropping into the infield of the HPT.com Speedway while carrying the Nations' flag. The team was scheduled to perform a jump at the end of the night, but were forced to cancel due to the high winds and threatening weather. Eighty seven cars would take to the HPT dirt oval in search of victory this night.

The first feature event of the night was uneventful, at least until the green flag waved. Dylan Whitehead found himself in unfamiliar territory after two bad weeks which has cost him the points lead. Whitehead would start on the pole but quickly went backwards with more troubles. Danny Masters would grab the lead quickly passing the #77 of Whitehead. As Whitehead continued to struggle, the 355 of AJ Christian and the 5 of Steve Stuart tangled on the back stretch causing Christian's car to roll in turn three. Fortunately, both drivers were okay and racing would resume following the second roll in as many weeks in the Hobby Stock class. When the green flag dropped again, the #97z of Zach Henery was able to pass the #0 of Jimmy Millard with the help of lapped traffic. Henery would go on to win followed by Millard and the #2 of Danny Masters. Henery would claim sole possession of the points lead after the night's event.

In the B-mod feature, the #04 of Jay Bailey would lead the 24 car field to the green flag and jump out to an early lead in the 15 lap event. Curtis Dreasher brought his #C4 car to HPT for the second week in a row and proved he is here to compete for the top spot. Starting outside front row, Dreasher would battle #16 Bobby Penny for much of the race allowing Bailey to extend his lead. Penny, who started 7th would eventually pass Dreasher for second. The laps quickly wound down and Bailey would lead wire to wire taking the feature win. Dreasher would settle for third behind Penny with #21 of Jack Frost and the #2 of Mike Eisenhut rounding out the top five.
The B-mod points battle changed drastically this week with Bailey's win, Penny, Frost and Eisenhut running well combined with the misfortunes of the points leader Brian Murphy and #45 of Dustin Thulin. Penny would take over the top spot followed by Murphy and now Bailey in the third spot. Dustin Thulin would fall far in the battle after a disqualification for his actions after a wreck in turn three.

#33 Josh Stevenson had the honor of starting the 20 car Factory Stock feature event with Steve Herrick in the #5k to his outside. Points leader #72 Dave Samuels would try to come up through the field again this week to win his third in a row from the ninth starting position. #11A Anthony Ward starting tenth would occupy Mr. Samuels for much of the race as they both came toward the front. Herrick and Stevenson would battle out front with Herrick taking the lead. Samuels and Ward would work their way to the third place battle before Samuels finally made the pass stick on Ward. With three laps to go, a driveshaft appeared on the track bringing out the yellow and setting up a three lap shootout. Herrick would clear the field for the win with Samuels and Ward passing Stevenson for second and third. The #20P car of Jim powell Jr would come home fifth. Samuels would stretch his points lead over #97j of Josh Henery who had a bad evening. Herrick would close in on second with his win. The #7 car of Carl Boyette would be disqualified for intentionally hitting another car at a high rate of speed during a caution.

Allen Henery would start the modified feature from the pole but quickly found himself losing seven spots out of the gate. Darron Fuqua would assert himself as the man to beat in his #87 ride. #77 Cody Agler, fresh off his Friday night feature win, assumed the third position early in the event and began to battle #4 Jake Richards for second. As the race progressed, Agler would take the second position but was still a long way from the top spot of Fuqua. The battle for top five was joined by #22 Billy Robison and the #177 of Steven Bowers jr. with ten laps to go. Debris in turn three would close the field back up for a green. white, checkered finish. Agler appeared to be the only competition for Fuqua this night but was unable to pass the #87 before the checkered flag dropped. Fuqua and Agler were followed by strong runs from #7D7 Kyle Covert, Richards and Mr. "where'd he come from" Ryan Phillips in his #69 car. Fuqua and Agler would inch ever closer to the points leader #177 Steven Bowers Jr who finished just outside the top five in the feature race.
