OSWALD RETURNS TO WINNERS CIRCLE

It was a awesome night of racing at the Humboldt Speedway with the return of the OCRS Sprint cars on hand plus a full car count in all other classes.

The first feature race of the night was the Pure Stock class witch saw 17 cars in the main event and it was Roger Oswald who piloted his #25 Camero from mid pack to the lead and go on to the win with Tony Morris also having a good run to take second Laura Ramey finished third while David Matlock was fourth and Mike Aiello rounding out the top five.

Up next was the Factory Stock and it to was full of action with several different leaders through out the race at the checkered flag it was Tyler James bringing home the win with John Rosson running a hard fought second, Brandon Tindle held on to third Colton Bunn fourth and Tim Phillips was fith.

It was a wild B-Mod feature with Tim VanGotten the dominate factor for the entire race but not able to make it through the tech inspection letting Ron Bolin Jr. hitch the win with Jimmy Davis second Jay Lamons Jr. third Dalton Kirk fourth and Steven Trester rounded out the top five.

Modifieds were out next and was the X2 of Brian Bolin leading wire to wire to claim another win at the Hummer with Scott Daniels second Jess Folk Jr. third Steve Becker fourth and Ryan Whitworth fifth.

The last feature race of the night was the OCRS SPRINT CARS witch went caution free the entire 25 laps it was Danny Smith showing the way and claiming the win in the 5$ car with Jamie Passmore running a close second Mike Goodman third Kyle Clark was fourth and Tim Kent rounded out the top five.

This Friday is kids night drivers will be signing autographs in the infield at halftime bring your makers gates open at 6:00 races start at 8:00. Trophies are sponsored by American Family Insurance of Chanute. And don’t forget Saturday’s Allen County Fair Demolition Derby at the Hummer gates will open at 5:00, and derby starts at 7:00.
