2010 Race Season Just Around the Corner

LAMONTE, Mo -Looking out the window to see a foot of snow does not lend itself to thinking about race season but regardless of the weather, the calendar says its only 3 weeks away.  L A Raceway has an open practice scheduled for Saturday, April 3rd while a week later Friday, April 9 will showcase the USMTS Modifieds and Saturday, April 10 will feature the Winged Outlaw Warrior 360 Sprints.  The weekly racing season opener is April 16 for A Modifieds, 305 Sprints, Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks and B Modifieds.  

L A Raceway promoters are honored that their major sponsors have signed on again for the exciting ride of the 2010 season.   W-K Chevrolet is returning as the Weekly Racing Series Sponsor, Union Savings Bank, as a corporate sponsor and Jim’s Tire Service, Xtreme Motors, Gill Signs, Speciality Sportswear and Pitts Homes have all returned as class sponsors.  Many of last year’s race night sponsors have also signed on again as well as many new names will be in the spotlight in 2010.    

The return of the USMTS Modifieds for two events, added nights for the Winged Outlaw Warrior 360 Sprints and the Lucas Oil ASCS 360 Sprint Summer Nationals will highlight the 2010 schedule.  The Steel Shoe National on July 17, will bring in the National Flat Track Motorcycle Stars for an event looked forward to every year. 

All it has to do now is get warm and dryer for one of the most aggressive and exciting seasons in L A Raceway’s eight year history.
