How long since you saw a Asphalt race? Will the Cheese Works made the trip to I-44 Speedway in Lebanaon Mo. for the Super Truck race Saturday night.
First off this track is in a beautiful setting in a little valley between two hills and just sort of blends into the country side plus the ownership group has been making big strides to bring the track back up to the status it once had for asphalt racing on a short track.
This is the house that Larry Phillips help build, I and many other race fans went to I-44 just to see Larry run especially in his latter years when things were starting to head down hill for him healthwise.
This was the second time this year that the USST brought their second biggest truck series in the USA into I-44, same winner but in a little different fashion. For all you old asphalt fans. Enjoy.
