So its my opinion and observation that the fastest way to run a great racetrack in the ground is to say your gonna do one thing, then not do it. NO TECH? The 23 factory stock, oh wait, i mean hobby stock that won last night was FAR from legal in either sets of rules! I saw the aluminum intake with a big carburetor, could obviously hear the camshaft, yet was running the G-60 tires with wide open grooving. I have yet to see any cars be weighed. Not enforcing the rules is a quick way to loose drivers in a hurry. I'd say the 34 hobby stock was cheated out of his first win EVER, they don't come easy! Maybe the A-mods can run against the B-mods? Not much different! Lets fix this, the track owes it to the drivers and the fans to keep the playing fields even, lets do better and get this fixed.

No disagreement here we are working towards that end. You can't find a good techman on every corner and we are trying to develope one. Our techman could not make it last night.

It doesn't take a good tech man to spot the obvious. I can even tell the difference between alum and cast, and the difference in a 2 barrel and a 4 barrel carb.

running a great track into the ground..... not sticking to your word, letting a lady at the pay window tell drivers that it dont mater if they are going to loose cars that have been showing up, no tech, no officials to keep it clean and an owner that will sit there and watch it happen and choose not to do anything about it..... run the drivers off... loose the fans... down fall of a great new track. its sad to see. how many sport mod drivers last night lost respect for the owner last night and like my self will not be returning to the track, would also not recommend this track to any other racer.

I spoke with Phil about the tech, he will take care of it. He can't make everyone happy. The tech is a problem and hopefully will be taken care of. Dan, nothing personal but you made many accusations last night about Phil not careing about drivers, only about making $$$, well that's just plain bull*#+*!!!! He could have best case scenario nights for years and probably still wouldn't be making $$$ when compared to his investment for you and I. He stood there and took your yelling and criticism like a man. He showed you more respect than many others would have. I understand your being upset about getting ran over, I do. But you telling people not to return is crap. JMO

Adam, you are correct, some of what i said was a large load of BS, and i am not telling anyone to not go there but i did say is i would not recommed this track. alot of drivers were angry last nite and for the guy that said at the first race of the year that he was lookn to have good clean racing, nothing is being done to make that happen. he had came over to the group of cars that i was there with and said he would watch for things and he would put an end to it. then after not doining any thing about it he didnt even want to talk with drivers. yes he came out off the pay office, and yes i was one of the drivers that was pissed just as many of the others.

Hey guys, keep in mind that this is Phils first year and first time ever running a race track! For sure things are going to go south and in a hurry once in a while, but I say give the guy a chance and see what happens. It ain't easy running a track, and finding a good tech guy or girl to keep everyone within the rules. I definately understand the frustration of getting hosed by someone who has taken advantage of the rules and cheating. Been there for sure! But in my humble opinion I say do not bury Phil and all that he has done to build another race track for us to race on just because this past night there were some bad teching (at least from what I have read so far). Phil has spent a ton of money to put together a bull ring of a race track. Give it a break and take a deep breath and exhale. I would be willing to bet that Phil will get the issues taken care of and pronto. All I am saying is give the guy a chance to correct the issues that have happened.

Keep in mind that new dirt tracks opening up are rare anymore. Many of the older tracks are closing down every year.

What would you like ACR to do?

Peace to all, and support your local sheriff, gunfighter and dirt race track!!!

JMO.

Race on.
