The kids were their, mom's were their, and of coarse the dad's were their, also all the race vehicles were their for Sunday open wheel special at Atchison County Speedway.
Being the new baby on the block in the racing world ACR was on display for the all us hard core race fans to take in. With temps in the 90's you had to want to be their and see some racing, and we did. Six classes make up the Sunday program with the four wheelers, micro sprints, winged and non wing, mod lites, AMS midgets, and junior quads.
For a day race the track crew did a good job of having the track ready for competition thru the afternoon and evening.
We've got the A-mains for all six classes as well as some in car action, so grab a good chair, a drink and an sandwich and enjoy Fathers Day At The ARC.
