Another great night of racing at ACR!!! A big hats off to the Emods and Hobbys. Some to their heat races were as competitive as features. The Emods continue to grow and there are more on the way. Should be a couple new ones in the next few weeks. Still waiting on a couple hobbies to get out as well. Should be at least three more coming in the next few weeks. Saw a great race this week in the hobby class as Aaron Meyers got out in front early. However: late in the race it was Tobin Bartlett on his bumber and when they hit lap traffic Aaron got caught up and Tobin was able to make the pass and held on to win his second race of the season. In the Emod class Kit Bailey got the win to finally hand Keith Simmons his first second place finish. The Emods put on a great show all the way through the field. As some of these drivers get more experience and get some bugs worked out this class is going to produce some of the best racing you have ever witnessed. The streetstocks have seen 4 winners in 4 weeks. That is a rare thing to see in racing today. It could be 5 in 5 very easily as there are 3 to 4 more cars that can win and have won at ACR in the past that haven't won yet this year. This week it happened to be Alvie Christofferson getting out in front and not looking back. He was challenged by Anthony Robertson. If Alvie had made a mistake it would have been Anthony's race. In the Bmods it was Matt Dorssom that led the good portion of the race with last weeks winner Truman Asher starting from the fifth row and charging to the front. A caution came out midway through and that put Asher right behind Dorssom. Asher got the pass and never looked back. Win number 3 for Asher means he goes to the shop to have his engine tore down for a closer inspection. For the last two weeks we have tore down motors and both competitors passed. In the sport compacts it was a familiar face in winners circle James Lemke. Last but not least we have alot of ladies that race at ACR. This Friday we had five in race cars that raced in three different classes!! This is astounding compared to other tracks that normally you would rarely see one. We also have a wide range of ages racing as well!!!! If you haven't made it out to see the racing make an effort to come out and see some great family entertainment. You will not be disappointed. See you this Friday!!!!
