As you all probably know last week's race (July 13th) was a non-points race for the Factory Stock class. While no points were awarded for the feature, points were given for the heat races.

On top of that, many frequent drivers weren't there that night including the 27, 56, 68M, OT, & 26 as well as others, making matters worse. This was obviously a mistake, but it definitely needs be addressed. If anyone knows who to contact to get this issue taken care of, please let me know.

That can't be right. Way wrong if points were given for heat races, and not pre-announced for all the regulars to know.

If it is true, then that is a very cheap shot at the FS guys and crews. Nice kick in the groin area, to say the least.

It just cannot be true.

I will check. As far as I am aware of no points were to be given for the extra nights of racing for both Factory Stocks or B Mods.

I think Lakeside is way better of a track to dirty deed the FS guys on the heat race points. Just did not sound right to me. I love the track, and all the crew that works there, so I say again it just did not sound right!
