What are they going to do different?? Are they going to beat the 78-88 monte carlo to death some more and the same with the 23 degree small block?
Why don't we think outside the box and come up with something new that can be built from the salvage yard?
I went racing in Colorado and was watching the races and they had four classes of what i would call street stocks to me they all looked a like and the same is happening here.
So what i'm getting at let's start thinking how to get new people involved with a racecar that's affordable.

Why in the world would they add an another class? 4 is plenty. Not interested in adding another 1.5 hours to the program.

Just like I35, we enjoy going there but there are 6 classes with typically a special class and 2-3 of the classes with 6-10 cars weekly. Toooo long of a program

I've never understood the mindset that a program has to be quick and get people home by 10pm. I enjoy my time at the tracks and hate it when the races end early. Adding another class just makes a fan feel like they get more for their money.

Finding that happy medium is what everyone wants. (Myself included) Last night Lakeside did a commendable job, races over at 10pm. I think you will find that was one of the faster programs, not very many yellows, one B-Feature and the program moved pretty smooth. You add another class and your looking at adding a minimum of an hour to the program. Is 11pm too late for a program to end? That's the question. Especially at Lakeside with only one entrance to the facility. Real pain getting out after the races especially if a train happens to come thru. In the end, I don't think it matters what the general public thinks, I believe the decision has been made, their going to add another class.

I believe what they are wanting is more cars, to me a more consistant track preparation this year would of accomplished that by itself. Way too rough earlier in the year, once teams leave to save their equipment its tough to get those teams to come back on a regular basis.

These are my opinions an only my opinions.

Good luck to all teams competing at the USRA Nationals.
