NCRA Late Models and Mod-Lites Kick off Season Saturday Night!

ncraPark City, Kansas – May 27, 2015 – The “gladiators” of the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products late model division will kick off their 2015 race season this coming Saturday night (May 30) at 81 Speedway in Park City. It will also be a new era, of sorts, for the tour as crate motors will be allowed to run for the series championship as well as the Nesmith weekly racing series point championship.

After a year hiatus the mod-lite division will once again be sanctioned by the NCRA.

Among the drivers who are expected for the late model season opener for the tour are the following Kansas drivers: Darrick Klima (Belleville) Daniel Smith (Beloit), Chris Kratzer (Haysville), Delbert Smith (Wichita), Dusty Leonard (Marysville), Scott Phillips (Salina), Ryan Grit (Lindsborg), Chris Bratcher (Hutchinson), Eric Main (Hutchinson) and Jeremy Petty (Smolan).

The 32nd year of the late model tour will pay $1000 to win for all events scheduled and $200 to start.

Gates this Saturday night open at 5:00 PM with racing slated for a 7:00 PM start time. 81 Speedway is located north of Wichita on I-135 to exit 16, then .7 mile west on 77th street.
