Park City, Kansas – May 30, 2015 – After a year hiatus, the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products is once again sanctioning the mod lite division and the tour opened their 2015 race season on Saturday night at 81 Speedway in Park City and it was inaugural champion Justin Kinderknecht taking home the season opening victory.
Veteran modified driver Ken Sweet came home second while Clay Bontrager, Barn Ayers and Mike Zrubek rounded out the top five.
The two heat races for the seventeen car field were won by Jason Roe and Kinderknecht. During heat race action, Trace Ayers hit the wall with just a couple laps to go in the first heat. He was uninjured and was done for the night.
The next event for the NCRA Mod Lite division will be taking place on Thursday night, June 18, at 81 Speedway as a support division for the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS).
