ULMA Late Models Return To Lakeside Speedway For Casey’s General Store Night At The Races!

Lakeside-Speedway(2)Kansas City, KS – Lakeside Speedway knows what it means to put on a great show each and every week during race season.

Friday night May 27th, the awesome action will continue for Casey’s General Store Night at the Races!

The USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B Mods will join the ULMA Late Models for one great night of racing. This week the Grand Nationals and the Factory Stocks will get a much needed break. Don’t think that you won’t be getting a sub par show, because the employees and racers of Lakeside Speedway will never let that happen.

Last week was another wild night of racing in the Dotte.

For the 2nd straight week it looks like Mark Schafman is becoming the GIANT in the USRA Modified division. For the 2nd straight week Schafman took home the top honors. The level of competition that races in this class should have Schafman feeling good about his accomplishment.

Last year’s champ, Kerry Davis, is on top of the early season point standings, but the upstart, Schafman, is right behind him 10 points back.

In the USRA B Mod division Chad Clancy drove to yet another victory this season at Lakeside Speedway. Win number 5 came to Clancy as he beat out the other 32 competitors last Friday night. With the win Clancy extended his points lead to more than 100 points.

The battle from a year ago between Kevin Anderson and Brett Heeter is alive and well again this season. Last week the 2 drivers stayed neck and neck as Heeter took the win and Anderson finished 2nd.

This week the ULMA Late Models join the mix and watch to see if USRA Modified Ace, Aaron Marrant, can continue his Late Model success at Lakeside Speedway.
