Kaster Celebration Night at I-35 Speedway!!!

I-35Kicking of Kaster Celebration Night at the Races Midwest Outlaw Vintage Racers would roar to the track and see Dennis Fair #7 win both his heat race and the feature on this night of competition. Fair would be challenged late by big mover of the race Ron LeFholz #20L who would charge to second and third place finisher Chris Heitman #39. Fourth place would go to Jack Simmons #J2 with Andy Wiles #53 rounding out the nights top five. Other heat race winner was Dave Petty Jr #46.

E-Modified would again see great racing action from start to finish as Matt Dorssom #3D and Corey Myers battling to the checkers. When the smoke cleared in post-race, Corey Myers #15 was declared the winner. Randy Smith Jr #20X would have another solid race finishing second with Matthew Lance #12x racing through the pack to claim the third spot. Fourth place would see Jason Marrant #33, who continues to impress, hold off a hard charge by Jorden Dawson #J90 the fifth place finisher. Heat race winners were Kyle Henning #1 and #19X of Joshua Munsen.

Midwest Lightning Sprints would be small in number but high in quality with great side by side racing. Tony Layne #9S would take the early lead with Ryan Secrist #49 challenging every lap of competition until Paden Moreland #19 would get by and battle Layne for the top spot. As Layne and heat race winner Moreland would enter turn 3 and 4 they would get together with Layne flipping, taking him from contention on the track. When the race resumed and green again was shown to the field Mark Billings #51 would make his move and win his third feature in a row at I-35 Speedway. Secrist would finish second on the night with the #2 of Jason Billups a close third. Fourth would belong to Ken Billings #85 with Tyler Miller #25M racing to a solid fifth on the night.

Pure Stock would see Carson Masoner #20X flex his muscle and find McCarthy Auto Group Winners Circle for the ninth time in 2016. Cody King #29 continues his streak of top five finishes with a second place showing on the night. Beau Wells #555 would race his way to third with Nathen Dawson #03D fourth. Fifth place would go to heat race winner Austin McKinzie #09. Other heat race winner was Tobin Bartlett #28.

Chargers would see Houston Johnson #97 take the early lead and never relinquish picking up the feature win. Hall of Famer Buz Kaster #54 would finish second holding off heat race winner Mich Ross #98M who would end the night third. John Hanson #54D, in a rare Charger appearance, would finish fourth with Marty Powell #9P fifth.

USRA B-Modifieds charged to the track and entertained as the best drivers in racing would compete on the near perfect racing surface. Heat race winner Jim Blazina #3 and other heat race winner Shadren Turner #17T would battle side by side the first circuit until Steve Starmer #11S would work his way past. Turner would develop mechanical issues and be forced to retire from the race as Starmer would continue to hold off all challengers. Nic Hanes #17X would try Starmer both high and low to no avail as Starmer would visit McCarthy Auto Group Winners Circle for the third time this 2016 racing season. Hanes would be forced to settle for second with Bud Wilson #20X ending the feature third. Tony Manley #3X would move through the pack and race among the leaders placing fourth with Ed Noll #15 rounding out the nights top five.

USRA Stock Car would witness Jason Estes #997 pick up his seventh win of the 2016 racing season and add to his point lead. Estes would win both his heat race and the feature on this night of competition with other heat race winner Mich Ross #34 coming home second. Sam Scott #93 would recover from an early race mishap to place third with Craig Reynolds #14XX fourth. Fifth place would go to John Boller Jr #20X who was in contention the entire feature event.

USRA Modifieds would see heat race winner Austin Johnson #98 Take the early lead and use the high line to perfection and appear to be the car to beat. As the race progressed, Zach Sanders #69 would use a perfect slide job taking the lead from Johnson and cruising to McCarthy Auto Group Winners Circle. Dennis Elliott #29 would race his way to second moving Johnson to third on the night. Fourth place would go to Shane Lawson #17$ with Dalton Kirk #30 a solid fifth place showing. Other heat race winner was Richard Layne #0.
