BriggsAuto.Com Speedway Roars Back For A Good Cause

Topeka, KS – Last week was another chance for racers and fans that attend BriggsAuto.Com Speedway to take a break. Drag racing at Heartland Park Topeka gave them both a chance to get ready for the final 3 races of the season that remain in 2012.

As everyone returns this Saturday, Sept. 22, to BriggsAuto.Com Speedway with a common goal on Ronald McDonald Kids Night at the races. The goal of raising money for the Ronald McDonald House. The Casey’s General Store Pure Stock division has spear headed this event coming up on Saturday night and it should definitely be a win-win scenario for all involved.

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. When you improve a child’s life you also improve the families as well.

The Pure Stock racers and crews have banded together in 2012 working to raise money in previous weeks with the 50/50 drawing and now look to raise even more funds on this special night.

Fans can register at the front gate to win cool prizes and free candy for the kids. Bryan University will be giving free blood pressure and heart rate checks, and fans will also have a chance to meet the drivers of the Casey’s General Store Pure Stock class. Fun, food and excitement for the whole family!

A special thanks to the following businesses for their donations to help make this event possible! West Ridge Lanes,
Coyote Canyon, Harold’s Tire, Beauty Nails, El Mezcal, Ravenwood Lodge, Champion Auto Glass, Hy Vee, Cycle Zone, Vault Denim
AAA, Allied Group, Best Little Hair House, Roy Fry Western Lifestyles, Chuck E. Cheese, Diamond House, Casey’s General Stores, Cerilla’s, Eagle Auto Wash, The Rod Shop, Pepsi, Applebee’s, Advance Auto Parts, Holiday Inn Holidome, North Topeka Adventure Golf, Ci Ci’s Pizza, White Star, Bonkers, Briggs KIA, Glory Days Pizza, Bling Addictions, Ford Quick Lane, Ramada, Bryan University, Spangles, Haage Oil, Heartland Park Topeka and a private individual: 5 year old, Tristan McClure, donated a Samurai Sword.

The Casey’s General Store Pure Stock division will be front and center on Saturday night. The drivers of this class have been instrumental in helping raise money and they have also had a great season on the track.

Saturday night they will be running later in the program and each driver starting the feature event will be recognized when we have a drivers’ introduction before their feature down on the front straightaway.

The Pure Stocks aren’t the only division that will be in action on Saturday night. The Washburn Tech Modifieds, Super 8 at Forbes Landing Factory Stocks and White Line CDL Training B Mods will be ready to battle it out for supremacy!

Racing action has been outstanding all season long at BriggsAuto.Com Speedway. Only 3 races remain along with this weekends race. What is each driver willing to do to pull out a championship? What is each driver willing to do to just pull out a victory before teh season ends?

You can’t find out the answers to these questions unless you are at BriggsAuto.Com Speedway this Saturday night.

Spectator gates open up at 5 p.m., hot laps start at 6:15 p.m. and the first heat race goes green at 7 p.m.

Adult tickets are $10, kids 12 and under are $5 and all military with an i.d. are FREE at Heartland Park Topeka.
