March Madness Canceled At Springfield

Springfield, Mo.- Due to scheduling conflicts, officials at the Springfield Raceway have decided to cancel the 2nd annual March Madness featuring the MARS Super Late Models along with USRA Modifieds, B Modifieds, Midwest Modz and Legends.

“Weather has forced other Series and tracks to push out their events and this makes it a no win situation for the drivers and fans both.” quoted co-owner Jerry Hoffman.

This will now place the opening race at Springfield Raceway on Saturday April 20th as Budweiser will present the ASCS Warrior and Sooner 360 Winged Sprint Cars along with support classes while the 2013 chase for the championship will begin on Saturday April 27th featuring USRA Modifieds, USRA B Modifieds, Legends, Midwest Modz, Young Lions Legends, Street Stocks and Pure Stocks.
