The United States Corps of Engineers confirmed recently that the Wolcott Levees are among the list of projects that will be approved for funding. The work on the three levees will be combined into a single project.
The cost share to the levee district is 20% (matching funds or in kind). Project funding will cover the costs of construction, supervision, administration, and inspection. The funding is expected to be approved in early February and the contract awarded shortly thereafter. All three Levees were over topped in this summer’s Missouri River flood event
Lakeside Speedway is amending the Convertible Sport B Mods to allow roofs on the racecars. The Convertible Sport B Mods will drop the convertible name and will allow roofs but not spoilers on racecars with roofs. Those Sport B Mods desiring a spoiler may utilize a spoiler but must remove the roof. The updated rules will be posted on lakesidespeedway.net. We also want to take the opportunity to wish all our supporters a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, we look forward to seeing you at Lakeside Speedway during the 2012 racing season.
